She is an extremely talented stylist specializing in kids hair and working with sensory needs.

Katy has been cutting hair since 2018 and her whole career she has sharpened her skills in haircuts for boys and men.
She specializes in clients on the spectrum and worked at a transitional place for adults on the spectrum before getting into the hair world.
A great conversationalist and provides detailed consultations and product advice. She has quite a knack for kids cuts, beard trims, slick backs, scissor cuts and bald fades. Upgrades are available to maximize your experience in the chair! Including hot steam towels, neck and shoulder massage, or a shampoo and scalp massage using top of the line products!

Hi! My name is Gracie and I’m a nail tech who specializes in hard gel and structured gel manicures. Up until last year, I had no idea what career I wanted to pursue. After high school, I studied elementary education, got my associate degree, and worked for the school district. I enjoyed working with children, but it wasn’t something I was fully passionate about. I decided to look at other career options and that’s when I found nail technology. I’ve always loved painting and crafting, and working with nails allows me to express my creativity while also creating connections with such wonderful clients. As a nail tech, I offer acrylics, hard gel, structured gel manicures, gel polish manicures, spa manicures/pedicures, and kids manicures/pedicures. Let’s connect and enhance the beauty of your nails!

The Chop Shop began as just a dream, a thought, and a little bit of hope. November 2022 we opened our doors.
I knew when I was young that I wanted to own a salon. I had no idea then what it would look like or how it would be or when it would even happen. Then one day it did. And nothing has ever felt so right in my life.
I began cosmetology school two weeks after I graduated high school. I have been doing hair for 9+ years. Over time my passions have shifted and settled into what they are today.
I like to keep things interesting. I work weddings and help brides make all of their hair dreams come true. I dabble in hair color and LOVE vivid color palettes. From long layered hair cuts to precise A-line’s. Men’s hair cuts and little of everything in between.
But my passion is working with children. All ages and all sensory needs. Children are our future. They are genuine and pure of heart. I am privileged to get to help them through a process that is difficult for plenty of kids. A bad hair cut can ruin self esteem and have a lasting affect. Over time my littlest clients have come to trust me. They know what to expect from me, every hair cut. A smile, a little chit-chat, some laughs, awesome hair, and lollipop at the end! And they NEVER let me forget!
I get to learn about each individual and watch them grow into amazing kids and young adults. So for me, it is more than just hair.

At The Chop Shop Family Hair Salon, we do our best to make sure all your needs are taken care of. If you have to cancel or change your appointment, just let us know.
